CLP Update 20th Sept 2016
Bomere Heath and District Community Led Plan Update - 20th Sept 2016
It seems such a long time since the start of July when we had the very well-attended “Have Your Say” Summer Party to launch our Community Led Plan (CLP). We wanted to update you on what’s been happening since then.
It was pleasing to see so many members of the community come out for what proved to be an enjoyable evening and great to get so much feedback on what makes you Mad, Sad and Glad. The ultimate aim of the Summer Party was to form a steering committee to deliver a Community Plan, we are happy to inform you that we now have a committee of 9 members (who have met twice already) , this committee will be working together over the next 9 or so months, with a view of the final Plan hopefully being ready for next summer – maybe with another Summer Party to celebrate!
We had great responses and some really good feedback at the Summer Party, we have put the findings in to table form and produced 3 headline graphs below, sharing with you what makes you Mad, Sad and Glad about our Parish. Generally Mad and Sad seems to be speeding/footpaths/ traffic and Litter but overwhelmingly it is the sense of community that makes you Glad.
These results will help form the start of the next phase of the CLP, which is the questionnaire. We will be formulating the questionnaire over the coming months and it will be with you late 2016 or early 2017. We shall update you nearer the time. It is the feedback from the next phase of engagement that will be what forms the CLP, so when the time comes, please be sure to “Have Your Say”
