Letter from Charlotte, aged 12

We love to hear from the parish about issues and matters that are close to local people’s hearts.

This month we received a letter from Charlotte, aged 12, who has written to the PC to request that we consider some recycled waste bins in the village. Charlotte has identified a litter issue within Bomere Heath and has done several litter picks herself. She feels that this would help to maintain the parish's natural beauty and prevent undue harm to wildlife.

After reading Charlotte's letter the PC felt that this is a worthwhile cause, and will invest time in reviewing the options with our county councilor Lezley Picton whose portfolio includes Waste, Culture, Leisure and Communications.
