Climate Action

Climate activists and scientists have developed this clock to highlight the challenge – let’s not just stand aside and watch.

Shropshire Council has declared a Climate Emergency and is acting to protect our environment and the health and wellbeing of us all. We too can play our part and if we all act together, we can make a positive change. As world leaders meet for COP26 in Glasgow, BHDPC adopted a Climate Action Plan so that we too can contribute to the solution.

It is a change in how we approach things, not an instant solution and so over the coming months we will address the issues identified in the plan. We aim to keep this 'live' and will update regularly. Here is the current status of our plan!
