Public Consultation on Shropshire Council's Budget Proposals

The public consultation is open until 28th January 2024.

Shropshire Coucil is asking for your views on thier budget plans as they continue working to overcome the challenges that come from rising cost and demand for council services.

In this financial year, they have found 80% of the spending reductions that they need to make, but it is clear the challenges will continue into next year.

Even with the 4.99% council tax rise that the Government expects them to make, there will be difficult choices to make.
