You will remember that following consultation the Parish Council is supporting the refurbishment of the Bomere Heath Village Hall with the goal to improve the facilities, increase the activities and provide a drop-in café for all residents.

The Village Hall unfortunately has been closed due to COVID and the Committee Management has been unable to meet. However, on 3 June 2021 it will hold its AGM which will involve a change in the Committee.

The Committee has representatives from a number of groups from within the Parish. The proposal is to create a new group of volunteers who will help to not only raise vital funds but also help stage events and activities. The café will need staffing and the more volunteers we have the more the village hall can put on!

This volunteer group will be key as it will provide the resources for making things happen and the group will also provide a representative who will be a member of the Committee!

If you did show an interest to volunteer during the consultation in January ‘21 we will already have contacted you. If you didn’t or you missed it now is the time to consider whether you want to get involved?

The success in giving the village hall a new look is wholly dependent upon volunteer support! Go to our website for more information and fill in the volunteer registration form!!
